Professional Experience

Donald is the Senior Director with Ruck-Shockey Associates, Inc., an S-Corporation formed in 1997. He has over 20 years of operational and project experience including operational review & assessment studies; conducting in-depth hospital studies, both systems and stand alone, service integration (multi-service/multi-unit); environmental service, linen and laundry, grounds upkeep, and patient transport management service programs; oversight reviews; implementation processes and program leadership.

He is a Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) & Registered Environmental Services Executive Housekeeper (RESE) with extensive knowledge in all aspects of environmental service, including enhanced disinfection practices, qualitative aseptic cleaning results, technology, management of daily operations, proposal and contract negotiations. Donald has also completed training with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council - A division of ISSA, with emphasis on SARS-Cov-2 / Covid 19. Donald is experienced in transformational leadership and culture change resulting in positive HCAHPS and customer results, conducting operational reviews and assessing labor and nonlabor needed, making appropriate recommendations, and providing implementation plans. Donald is qualified not only in operations, but also has a keen eye for quality results. Donald is a proven performer in providing customers with empirical data that allows them to make good business decisions with positive results

Georgie Shockey

Experience

Georgie is a principal in Ruck-Shockey Associates, Inc., an S-Corporation formed in 1997.  She has 35 years of operational and project experience in the areas of dining services, retail, patient meals, environmental services, patient transport and laundry.  Experiences include operational review & assessment studies; service integration (multi-service/multi-unit); meal delivery service programs; oversight reviews; implementation processes, transition, integration and request for proposal (RFP) leadership.  

Georgie is experienced in conducting feasibility studies where large capital investments are needed, making appropriate recommendations, and providing implementation plans. She has helped operators secure multimillions in capital for her clients. She also has experience in EVS standards, procedures, training and infection control methods for healthcare settings. Georgie utilizes financial and cost benefit analysis skills to assist in creating effective and sustainable operations.
