Leadership Fundamentals - Building Relationships
-
Level: Leader
-
Course time: 1 hour
As a leader, you must build and maintain relationships as well as navigate challenges in them to achieve outcomes. Relationships evolve and require consistent upkeep. They are based on give and take – good leaders invest more in relationships than they take out. Understanding the balance of using your voice and recognizing the needs of others is an important skill. Relationships are built on trust.
Trust is a function of core values and behaviors you demonstrate as a leader – Trust is earned and not granted to you because of your job title. The course will cover the “C”’s –competence, character, connection, courage, and consistency which establishes your leadership currency – other’s willingness to trust and support you as the leader.
